We are looking for a reliable, professional and motivated cleaner/Housekeeper to join our growing team covering Buxton and the surrounding areas.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and understands the importance of providing a consistently high standard of service to clients.
Location: Buxton and surrounding areas
Hours: Hours are currently building due to business growth. We are becoming very busy and are looking for someone who can grow with us. There is potential for up to 30 hours per week as our client base continues to expand.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 4:00pm
No weekend work required.
About the Role
This is a self-employed position providing domestic cleaning services in clients' homes.
All work will be scheduled and shared via Google Calendar, including property details, specific cleaning requirements, and any client requests. You will be expected to review and follow this information for each job and communicate promptly if anything is unclear or needs updating.
You will often work independently and be trusted to manage your workload professionally while maintaining excellent cleaning standards. Many of our clients work from home, so a friendly, respectful and professional approach is essential.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of clients' homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces
Clean bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring all areas are hygienic and presentable
Change bed linens and organise spaces as required
Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with laundry tasks when necessary
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Maintain confidentiality and respect clients’ privacy at all times
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of:

- Remaining at the property for the full scheduled booking time unless otherwise authorised

What We're Looking For - Essential Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Honest, trustworthy and professional attitude
- Ability to travel between client locations
Pay and Benefits
- £15.00 per hour for standard cleans
- £16.00 per hour for deep cleans
- No evenings or weekends

A starter kit of professional cleaning products will be provided. However, if you leave within the first 3 months, the cost of the starter kit must be reimbursed.
Important
This is a self-employed role. Successful applicants must have public liability insurance in place before starting work and be responsible for maintaining their own insurance cover throughout their time working with the business.
