Role:

Working alongside the Brand Manager and Junior Graphic Designer, this role demands a high level of creativity whilst being a custodian of and ensuring adherence to our Brand Guidelines. A confident communicator, with a high level of attention to detail and time management are required as is the ability to liaise across functions within the business to produce and manage the design workload across multiple digital platforms and offline where required. A drive to learn, follow briefs and seek advice when required is critical to this role.

Responsibilities:

Support Junior Graphic Designer with development of digital assets for Soak&Sleep across all platforms, to drive engagement and help position the brand
Design key visuals for campaign activation across multiple platforms
Develop, design and evolve informational documents and public-facing educational materials
Ownership, application and evolution of the Brand Guidelines
A custodian and reference point for all company wide graphic standards, logo usage and use of brand imagery
Assist the marketing team with the content, look and feel of all digital performance marketing activity including email activity across automation and campaigns.
Creation of social assets that drive engagement and help position the brand
Image manipulation; edit and repurpose images for use online and by partners
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the marketing calendar and organizes workload accordingly alongside ad hoc design briefs
Assist Junior Graphic Designer in building campaign pages for website inline with marketing calendar
Supports the planning, preparation and execution of photography and video shoots to capture product images, editorial shots and videos for the web and supports the approval of written content for brand ToV.
Working with the Marketing & Content Executive and Online Merch Executive, develop and manage workflow of pages to launch new products in line with the Critical Path ensuring the key brand principles are displayed with a clear hierarchy of messaging with features & benefits clearly highlighted across image, video and written content.
Ensures projects completed on time and to cost with minimum delays and always to the highest standards
Ensure artwork and graphics meet internal customer requirements
Develops and maintains an awareness of brand competition as well as halo and inspirational brand

Experience

Graphic Design Degree or practical experience of Graphic Design
Experience/understanding of developing and executing brand campaigns
Understanding of Adobe Suite and use of XD to design assets
Experience of working in a digital retailer ideal but not essential

Skills

Proactive in identifying activity to help create strong brand presence and awareness
Strong creative ability with a natural eye for design
High degree of computer literacy in all Microsoft & Google office packages, and understanding of design packages including photoshop and XD
Proactive in looking at ways to improve processes with a strong attention to detail
Ability to analyse, present and communicate information clearly
A team player with good organisational skills and ability to plan forward
Self motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to be flexible and prioritise across a broad area of activity
Must have a positive energetic approach to the workplace
Can do, will do attitude and a drive to achieve

Accountability

Understands and conducts self in line with Brand values
Owns the brand values and goals and holds team accountable to do the same
Comprehension of Target Audience and ToV
Thorough knowledge of the brand guidelines and holding business accountable for appropriate application
Holds self accountable for maintaining in depth knowledge of products, services, promotions and Terms and Conditions
Supports the maintenance of the marketing calendar
On time delivery of launch products and campaigns to the site
Completes and holds self accountable for maintaining knowledge of Sleep Ambassador training.
