Swimming Teacher (STA or Swim England Level 2)
Location: SE1, & SE7 South East London
Hours: Weekends (term‑time only, 40 weeks per year)

About Us
SwimKidz SE London is a well‑established swimming school teaching babies, toddlers and children up to 12 years old. Since 2008, we’ve delivered fun, progressive and professional lessons that build confidence, safety and a lifelong love of the water.

We are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate STA or Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher who is looking to become a Parent & Baby instructor, so enthusiasm for working with little ones is essential.

What We Offer

Term‑time only (40 weeks per year)
Full training on our teaching approach
All lesson plans provided
Kit, equipment and CPDs included

Key Responsibilities

Teach babies, toddlers and children up to age 12 (depending on role)
Deliver structured, progressive lessons following our scheme of work
Build water confidence and essential lifesaving skills
Ensure high standards of safety and safeguarding
Record attendance and maintain accurate class information
Create fun, engaging sessions tailored to individual needs
Communicate positively with parents and children
Demonstrate techniques, correct skills and support progression
Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe use of equipment
Assess swimmers’ abilities and award certificates appropriately
Provide feedback to parents and evaluate session outcomes

About You

STA or Swim England Level 2 qualification (and willingness to train for Parent & Baby)
Confident, friendly and great with children and parents
Reliable, professional and safety‑focused
Passionate about helping children learn and progress
