About Malary

Malary Ltd are a family run, yet leading Waste Management and Recycling Company and we have a vacancy for a Transport Coordinator to join our team.

We have a close, friendly team who work together, support each other and are focused in delivering the best services possible.

Role Summary

To support the smooth running and compliance of the Transport department and Workshop.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintaining Vehicle History files up to Earned Recognition Standard
Liaising with Internal & External suppliers (Parts/Equipment)
Liaising with Drivers (defects/ collisions/ planned maintenance etc)
Updating & Data Entry using Fleetcheck
Assisting the TM with Workshop planning and defect rectification
Vehicle and equipment auditing (Weekly/ Monthly)
Updating reporting requirements/KPIs (Weekly/ Monthly)
Booking Vehicles with External Suppliers (MOT/ADR/SLP/Tank Tests)
Vehicle tachograph downloads (Weekly)
Vehicle/Driver Route planning, when required (In line with Driver’s hours regulations)
Liaising with Process/ Yard in Scheduling of Outbound waste, when required (Weekly)
Managing and scheduling repeat contracted works with industrial teams, when required
Assisting with outbound transport paperwork, when required – completing Quick Consign Pro
Supporting busy transport department when required (wages/ investigations/ 1-2-1s etc)

Personal Specification:

Qualifications & Training

Educated to GCSE level, incl. Maths & English (min. Grade 4, previously Grade C) - Essential

Experience

Demonstrable administrative experience in a demanding work environment - Essential

Qualities and Behaviours

Good organisational skills - Essential
Strong communication skills - Essential
An ability to multi-task - Essential
Approachable, with a helpful disposition - Essential
