Arty Amber is a multi-award winning art education initiative in Hertfordshire for children and adults from 4 years+. We work with schools and venues to provide after school art clubs, holiday art clubs, private tuition, GCSE/A level tuition and adult courses.
We have an opportunity in our art clubs for a self-employed, highly creative, engaging and experienced art teacher who is able to teach multiple mediums whilst creating a wonderfully friendly and interactive environment for 4-11 year olds.
The role is based in a school in Biggleswade and there is also opportunity for further teaching. You will be responsible for leading the club, working with children, parents, taking care of materials and liaising with the school office.

- Availability (term time only)
Thursdays, 2.45-4.45pm
- Be self employed (this is a subcontractor role, not employment)
- Have a UTR (unique tax reference)
- Have a Diploma in Fine Art (or equivalent) or be a practising artist.
- Must drive and have access to a car (travel with art equipment required)
- Have an Enhanced DBS (not just a DBS) or be willing to get one
- Be first aid trained (or be willing to do the training)
- Be safeguarding trained (or be willing to do the training)
- Be able to move heavy equipment - tables, chairs, bags of art gear
- Have at least 1 years experience working with children under 12 years
- Have/be willing to get PLI insurance
