Job purpose

Working in our friendly GMSL team as an Operations Controller you will manage European gas portfolios.

Your responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the client you are supporting and their specific needs. In this role might include:

Coordinate flows across the network, including interactions with entry and exit points such as production fields, storage facilities, and power stations
Manage access rights and oversee the use of network points
Coordinate cross-border transactions and ensure smooth operations between different markets
Facilitate deliveries between companies in line with their trading activities
Follow established processes, supported by clear documentation and guidelines

You will work in a shift-based environment with a flexible schedule, including some weekend and night shifts. This setup is balanced by a generous number of days off, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

About you

This is an entry level role so no prior experience is required, and full training will be provided. We are looking for candidates who are:

Conscientious and proactive
Able to work accurately under pressure, to follow procedures and pay attention to detail
Comfortable working with numbers and proficient in using Microsoft Office software
Happy to communicate with people, both within your team and with customers
Able to work effectively both as part of a small team but also to take initiative on your own
Preferably educated to degree level, but this is not required
