Full job description

Discover Scotland Tours currently have a vacancy for an Operations Supervisor to join the team. This position is on a temporary fixed term basis to cover for Maternity Leave.

The position is available immediately and will finish approx. at the end of February 2027. There is a potential for the position to extend further.

The salary of £29,355 per annum will be pro rata.

The role is shift based, with the main focus on the day to day operation covering the following aspects:

Ensuring the smooth running of the operations on a daily basis overseeing drivers, valets & vehicles.
Providing administrative support to our drivers – including the organisation of passenger pick-ups and delivering up to date traffic information.
Processing tour bookings – via telephone, email and our websites online chat facility.
Responding to passenger queries – via telephone, email and our websites online chat facility.
Ensuring the smooth running of the office.
General administrative tasks – including organisation/management of passenger information and collation of performance data.
Weekly reporting using Excel.
Building & maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Essential:

Supervisory experience in a similar role
Customer Service
Administrative Skills
Competent in Excel

Desirable:

Knowledge of Scotland
Tourism Industry Experience

Shift Pattern: 3 Early / 3 Late / 3 Off

Early: 06:30 - 14:30

Late: 14:00 - 22:00

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,355.00 per year
