Correla are looking for a Lead Data Architect to join our Managed Service Architecture team.

Salary: circa £90,000 (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role:

The Lead Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the strategic direction of data architecture across Correla’s managed services, with a particular focus on SAP-based data ecosystems within the UK Link platform.

Data Governance & Compliance -Enforce master data management (MDM), data quality, classification, and retention policies across SAP systems. Establish and maintain data lineage and metadata strategies
Integration & Interoperability - Design scalable and secure data interfaces between SAP and non-SAP. Support the architecture of data replication, transformation, and reporting layers, especially involving SAP BW and analytics platforms
Solution Review & Assurance - Participate in change reviews to ensure SAP data components are impacted and review SAP-related changes or enhancements from a data perspective
Collaboration & Leadership - Work closely with Functional Architects, Data Engineers, and Solution Architects across UK Link delivery as well as act as mentor to other architects
SAP Data Architecture Strategy - Maintain enterprise-level SAP data architecture standards for UK Link, own the design of data models and structures across SAP ISU and BW

About You

Strong understanding of data ownership and stewardship practices
Familiar with data lineage tracking, classification models, and lifecycle management policies
Familiarity with SAP Data Services for data integration and transformation
Familiarity with SAP environments and the way SAP data interacts with surrounding enterprise platforms is desirable
Proficient in SAP Data Dictionary concepts
Skilled in creating and managing CDS Views
Experience of working with non-SAP applications, data and integration layers, reporting environments, and wider data consumers.
