Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a solid understanding of project management principles within the mechanical engineering sector. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring all phases are executed efficiently and effectively.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project progression.
Monitor project progress against milestones and deadlines, adjusting plans as necessary to meet targets.
Manage project documentation, reports, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Ensure all project activities adhere to organisational standards and client specifications.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Experience

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar role within the engineering sector.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to lead teams confidently while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Prior experience managing budgets, schedules, and project documentation is essential. This position offers an engaging environment for professionals committed to delivering high-quality mechanical engineering projects while fostering personal growth within a dynamic organisation.

Pay: £35,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
