Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
Take orders and provide friendly, professional service to guests
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organising stock and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems
Restock supplies as needed throughout shifts
Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote ongoing patronage

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Experience in serving or working within a restaurant or bar environment is desirable
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns and guest needs

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
