Full job description

Join Our Growing Team

Belton Construction is looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Construction Administrative Assistant to support our busy office and project teams.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our construction projects running smoothly by supporting office administration, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming emails, correspondence and office communications.
Answer telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries appropriately.
Organise training records and maintain employee certification and compliance documentation.
Order office supplies, PPE, workwear and site materials while obtaining competitive pricing.
Maintain stock levels of office and site consumables.
Prepare project documentation
Arrange site safety packs and equipment for upcoming projects.
Support vehicle administration including servicing, MOTs, repairs and fleet records.
Assist the estimating team by organising drawings, and subcontractor enquiries.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.
Maintain accurate digital and paper filing systems.
Carry out general office administration and provide support across the business as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
A confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
Able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership of their workload.
Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook, Google sheets.)

Previous administration experience is essential, ideally within construction, property or a related industry.

Desirable Experience

Construction administration.
Working with subcontractors and suppliers.
Estimating administration.
Fleet or plant administration.
