Full job description

We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team at The Bucket of Blood.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and wants to be part of a supportive team. Experience is helpful, but not essential – we're happy to train the right person with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

The role is primarily focused on food preparation and supporting our chefs to help ensure service runs smoothly.

Pay & Hours

25+ hours per week
Evening and weekend shifts required
Permanent, year-round position for the right person
Competitive pay based on experience

Main Responsibilities

Assisting chefs with food preparation
Preparing ingredients and basic dishes to specification
Helping with plating and service preparation
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed
Stock rotation and storage of deliveries
Keeping workstations clean and tidy throughout service
Assisting with kitchen cleaning and closing duties
Supporting the kitchen team wherever required

Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
