Ash Hill Academy are looking to appoint a Head of Department for Maths to join our academy in September 2026 on a part-time, permanent basis .

A Rising Star in Yorkshire. Nationally Exceptional: In 2024, Ash Hill Academy ranked in the top 16 schools in Yorkshire for progress, with an exceptional Progress 8 score of +0.25. Nationally, just 18.6% of white working-class pupils achieve a Grade 5+ strong pass in English and Maths. At Ash Hill Academy, 40% of this cohort secured Grade 5+/5+, more than double the national average.

We are proud to be the one of the highest attaining schools in South Yorkshire for schools with similar demographics and ranked 37th most improved in the country.
