Graduate Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

We invite you to become a Graduate Business Development & Marketing Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in business development, marketing, bid management and corporate communications. You'll work closely with our Head of Business Development and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of business growth activities.

What You Will Do

You'll support the delivery of successful tender submissions, help promote the BDS brand, coordinate marketing campaigns and ensure the business remains tender-ready. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop a broad commercial skillset.

Main Responsibilities

Monitor procurement portals and identify new business opportunities.
Support the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and tenders.
Maintain bid documentation, company information and compliance records.
Create engaging content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms
Assist with marketing campaigns, website updates, newsletters and promotional materials
Research market trends, competitors and potential clients.
Maintain CRM records and support client relationship activities
Help organise exhibitions, networking events and corporate communications.

What We Expect of You

Essential:

Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related subject.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
Professional, proactive and positive approach.

Desirable:

Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media marketing.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Understanding of public sector procurement or tendering.
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
