Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. You will be responsible for operating a Fendt 724 doing general farm tasks eg, mainly cultivation work and some spray/fertiliser applications.
Requirements:
- Previous experience or knowledge of farm operations
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with relevant farm machines
- Ability to perform physical tasks
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to farming activities
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures in handling tools and machinery
- Adaptable to meet the needs of the business
- Calm under pressure, team player
- Full driving licence
- Awareness of road transport rules and best practice
- PA1 and PA2A are desirable, not essential.
You will likely work over 6 days per week, with ‘additional’ hours required in peak seasons. You will see seasonal peaks and troughs in your workload.
Basic & Overtime pay will be negotiated on an individual basis.
The role would be an immediate start.
Pay: £12.90-£14.00 per hour
