Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth finish, and contributing to various construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents.
- Mix plaster materials according to specifications for optimal consistency and performance.
- Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools, ensuring an even coat.
- Finish surfaces with attention to detail, smoothing out imperfections for a professional appearance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as bricklayers, carpenters.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly storing tools and materials.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times while on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with bricklaying principles can enhance your application.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent finishing skills.
- A valid driver's licence is REQUIRED for transportation to various job sites.
