Background
An opportunity has arisen within the Trusts and Estates Administration department for a Telephonist/Administrative Assistant, on a permanent basis.
Our specialist Trusts and Estates Administration department works on behalf of a number of large high street banks and building societies to offer specialist advice on probate, trusts and estates, lasting powers of attorney and deeds of variation.
The Role
The role will involve:

Filing of correspondence for all lawyers in the department
- Sorting incoming post
- Electronically banking cheques for the department
- Returning and writing letters for our unreferenced post
- Filing of trust and estate physical files
- Opening and closing files both manually and electronically
- Large volume photocopying, scanning and general administration
- Assist other departments in line with business needs when required
- Calls to clients
- Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages and information from clients
- Logging correspondence and documents on our document management system
- Retrieving any required documents from our storage facilities
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a client/customer services environment would be advantageous.
Competent user of MS Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
Good communication skills and excellent inter-personal skills are essential for this post. The successful candidate will also be well-organised and a good team player.
