About The Organisation

The Role

Expert clinical practitioner providing comprehensive advice and support within a specialism, operating across all parts of NHS Lanarkshire and leading a team of Nurse Specialists. The post holder will ensure a person centered approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy. You will also lead the development and implementation of a programme of clinical audit and research activity.

In this key role, you will:

Lead in planning, priority setting and decision making to ensure that patients needs and organisational goals are met and contribute to the development and implementation of guidelines, policies and procedures
Undertake expert clinical nursing practice
Assess, appraise and critically apply the evidence-base for Clinical Practice
Identify and promote the need for health improvement and prevention of ill health

What You'll Bring:

Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level
Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality.

A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
