Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team, providing essential support in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within our premises.

Duties

Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Clean residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control procedures.
Assist with laundry duties when required.
Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person.
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures.
Treat residents, visitors and colleagues with dignity, respect and professionalism.
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the role.

Experience

Previous cleaning or domestic experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, hardworking and well organised.
Good attention to detail.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
A caring and respectful approach towards residents, relatives and colleagues.
