Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with food presentation in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a memorable experience to our customers while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing attentive service to all customers.
Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes meet our quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system.
Provide friendly advice on menu items and promote daily specials to enhance customer experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines at all times, including food safety procedures.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or waitress is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
