Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Professional to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and tailored lessons to a diverse range of learners, including children and individuals with disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ development, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth within a supportive environment.

Duties

Design and deliver customised lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs, including special education requirements.
Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students, supporting their academic progress across various subjects such as creative writing and general curriculum areas.
Work closely with students with autism and other disabilities, employing specialised teaching strategies to facilitate inclusive learning experiences.
Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and independence among learners.
Maintain clear communication with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding student development and behaviour.
Develop engaging educational activities that stimulate creativity and critical thinking skills.
Support students in developing social skills and emotional resilience through personalised mentoring sessions.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, ideally within special education or working with individuals with disabilities.
Strong understanding of working with children and familiarity with autism spectrum conditions.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging learners of various ages and backgrounds.
Creative writing skills to inspire students’ expression and storytelling abilities.
Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual student needs and learning styles.
Patience, empathy, organisational skills, and a genuine passion for education are essential qualities for success in this role.
Relevant qualifications in education or special education are preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is highly valued. This position offers an enriching environment where your dedication can truly make a difference in the lives of learners seeking support to reach their full potential.
