Overview
Stix & Stones Belfast is recruiting for an Assistant Manager.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen operations and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and guests have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations within the business.
Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and best practices.
Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Provide support in bartending duties during busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Help resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, complying with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with both staff and guests.
Experience in food preparation and cooking is advantageous.
Bartending experience is a plus but not essential.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
