Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Pizza Chef will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere by delivering exceptional food and service.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, including stock rotation and cleanliness
Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and efficient service during busy periods
Monitor quality control throughout the preparation process to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Support meal preparation for other menu items as required, contributing to overall kitchen operations

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen setting
Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
