Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our Grounds and Gardens team. You will carry out routine and planned maintenance duties as directed by the Senior Grounds and Gardens Officer and the EFM site senior team.

Duties include garden and grounds maintenance, litter collection and emptying bins, path and car park cleaning, minor maintenance to outdoor furniture, and winter gritting and snow clearance. The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and contributing to a comprehensive site-wide service.

Carry out planned and requisition maintenance requests to all grounds and gardens

Ensure main entrances are litter-free, swept and power-washed when required, change outdoor bins daily.

Strim, mow and prune according to seasonal demands

Use and maintain petrol driven and electric machinery and equipment including mowers, blowers, and sweepers.

Report all defects to the Facilities Helpdesk so relevant trades can be arranged to repair/make-good.
