About Us:
Willows Lodge Nursing Home is a 70-bedded care home in Tilbury, dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care for our residents. Our team creates a vibrant, supportive, and homely environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day.

Role Overview:
We are looking for energetic and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our friendly team. As an HCA, you will play a vital role in delivering the highest standard of care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
Assist residents with mobility and support them during meals and activities.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing emotional support and companionship.
Help residents maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and behavior to senior staff.
Work collaboratively with the care team to create a warm, positive atmosphere for residents.
Encourage and support residents to participate in social activities, ensuring they remain engaged and happy.

What We’re Looking For:

A caring and vibrant personality with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives.
Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential – we provide full training!
A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with residents, families, and colleagues.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A commitment to maintaining the dignity, respect, and confidentiality of residents at all times.
