Are you organised, motivated, and looking to kick-start your career in business administration?

Goonvean Fibres is looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our busy Imports & Exports team in Cullompton. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global manufacturing business while working towards a recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

You'll receive support and training from experienced colleagues, developing valuable skills in administration, customer service, international logistics, and supply chain operations within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the processing of import and export orders.
Assist with shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery instructions.
Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is compliant and up to date.
Communicate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
Track shipments and help resolve any issues or delays.
Update internal systems and databases accurately and promptly.
Respond to customer and supplier queries in a professional manner.
Assist with reporting and departmental performance analysis.
Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and email management.

Highly organised and detail-oriented.
Eager to learn and develop a career in business administration.
A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using IT systems and learning new processes.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
In possession of excellent organisational and time-management skills.
