Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background who are committed to delivering high-quality service and maintenance support.

Duties

Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals
Conducting routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan
Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, repair, or modify machinery
Interpreting technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly tasks
Assisting with the installation of new machinery and ensuring proper setup according to specifications
Performing heavy lifting as required for the movement and installation of heavy components
Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs

Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or related fields
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and assembly processes
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
Previous experience in equipment repair or maintenance is highly desirable
