Full job description

Job Summary:

Mobile Phone Repair Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains smartphones and other mobile devices. They identify hardware and software faults, replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and cameras, test devices after repairs, and provide customers with advice on device care and maintenance. Technicians also keep accurate repair records, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities:

Diagnose hardware and software issues.
Repair or replace faulty components.
Test devices to ensure proper functionality.
Update and reinstall operating systems or software.
Maintain repair records and inventory.
Provide customer support and explain repair options.
Follow health, safety, and data privacy procedures.

Key skills:

Knowledge of smartphone hardware and software.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers professionally, explaining repair options, and ensuring a positive service experience.
Carry out fault finding to accurately diagnose hardware and software issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and repair techniques.

Working Hours:
You will be required to work 45 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, five days per week. The role operates on a rotating schedule, with one weekend worked followed by one weekend off.
