Company Description

Join us at Greene King pubs, where we have always been the beacon for communities, wherever people want to come together. Our collection of community pubs are the heart and soul of the local area around them, helmed by a local hero and crewed by a team always ready with your favourite tipple.

The Governor's House is a busy pub with 10 modern and comfortable rooms in leafy Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester. We have a steady year round trade, supported by a strong reputation as a great place to watch sport, and our large and sunny beer garden in the warmer months. We also have a 75 cover dining area and cater for private functions within the pub.

Job Description

As a Cleaner/Housekeeper, you’ll work as part of a small team to ensure the pub is cleaned to a high standard each morning ready for a busy day's trade, before cleaning the 10 hotel rooms to an immaculate standard which meets company spec and delights guests upon check-in.

Please note this is a part time vacancy:

1-3 shifts per week, with option for additional holiday cover;
shifts start at 9am, with finish time varying from 12.15pm to 2pm, depending on how busy the hotel is
to include some weekend shifts
You must be over the age of 18 and hold at least 2 years prior experience in a similar role

Qualifications

As a Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will...

Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety by following procedures at all times.
Be responsible for cleaning and presenting our public areas and hotel rooms perfectly so they are ready for our customers.
Make sure the hotel is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
