Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our administrative team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong computer skills to contribute to the smooth running of daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and a professional approach to communication. This role is suitable for those looking to develop their administrative expertise within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments, ensuring efficient workflow
Manage data entry tasks accurately using programmes such as QuickBooks and other relevant software
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
Maintain organised records and files both digitally and physically
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation using Microsoft Office applications
Support invoicing and billing processes through QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks
Utilise Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for collaborative projects and document management

Summary: We are looking for an operations assistant to join the team in our UK office.

We are looking for somebody who is hard working, conscientious and willing to learn.We offer excellent working environment in our brand-new office, town centre parking space and the opportunity to work with a friendly team.

The job duties would include, but are not limited to: • Processing orders • Stock control • Data input (sales and purchase invoices) • Credit control (chasing overdue invoices) Please see below desirable requirements for the role, full training will be provided. • Must have minimum 1 year experience working in an office environment and be confident using Microsoft packages • Must have strong grasp on written and spoken English • Must work well as part of a small team
