Overview
Due to our expanding provision and growing numbers, we are looking for a passionate and caring Early Years Practitioner/Educator to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. Depending on experience, this role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.

Duties

Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and engaging nursery environment.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that children are cared for and engaged throughout the day.
Support children’s emotional and social development by encouraging positive behaviour.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare where appropriate.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
Ability to work using own initiative and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
