Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring all food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent service to our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their expertise in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding work areas
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Assist with other kitchen duties as required, including serving customers when necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous experience working with grills or barbecues is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary arts is essential
Prior experience in a restaurant setting or serving environment is advantageous

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
