Eventus Legal are seeking a permanent Private Client Solicitor to join a long-established and highly regarded law firm in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. This Private Client Solicitor job offers the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive practice with an excellent reputation for client care and staff retention. Full-time and part-time applications will be considered, alongside flexible working arrangements. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to take on a varied caseload of private client matters whilst contributing to the continued success and growth of a well-established department.

About the Job Opportunity

This Private Client Solicitor job offers the opportunity to manage a broad range of private client matters, providing high-quality advice to individuals and families across Worcestershire and the surrounding areas. You will work closely with an experienced team and enjoy significant client contact, handling matters from instruction through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a varied caseload of private client matters with minimal supervision
Advising clients on wills, trusts and estate planning matters
Preparing and administering Lasting Powers of Attorney
Handling probate and estate administration matters from instruction to conclusion
Advising on inheritance tax planning and asset protection strategies
Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients with later-life planning matters
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional client care
Contributing to the continued growth and development of the Private Client department
Supporting networking and business development initiatives within the local community
Maintaining compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures

About You

The hiring company is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE who can confidently manage their own caseload and deliver a high standard of client service. You will be personable, empathetic and committed to providing practical legal advice tailored to clients' individual circumstances.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Private Client law
Strong experience handling wills, probate, estate administration and LPAs
Experience advising on trusts and inheritance tax planning matters
Excellent client care and relationship management skills
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
Strong drafting, organisational and communication skills
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
High attention to detail and strong technical knowledge
