FULL-TIME | PERMANENT | SELF-EMPLOYED POSITION

Based out of Gloucestershire, we ideally prefer candidates located within a 50-mile radius to allow for smooth day-to-day operations and flexibility.

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Transport Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely, you’ll be driving modern company 4x4s towing single open or enclosed trailers, handling high-end vehicle movements nationwide.

The role is fully customer-facing, so confidence, communication and presentation are essential. You’ll be representing both our company and some of the biggest automotive brands in the world.

Duties

Our operations team will fully plan and manage your day-to-day schedule, allowing you to focus on the job at hand.
Safely operate modern company 4x4s with open and enclosed transport trailers in line with road traffic laws and company procedures.
Carry out professional vehicle collections and deliveries for dealer groups, prestige brands, trade clients, and high-profile private customers.
Complete detailed digital vehicle appraisals on collection and delivery using our app reporting system.
Conduct daily vehicle and trailer safety inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements immediately.
Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles correctly and safely, ensuring the highest standards of care at all times.
Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, fuel usage, expenses, and delivery documentation.
Represent the company professionally at all times — this is a customer-facing role requiring confidence, communication skills, and strong presentation.
Assist with vehicle handovers where required, including paperwork, controls, app pairing, and general customer interaction.
Work efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining high service standards and attention to detail.
Adhere to all health & safety, transport compliance, and company operating procedures.
Be flexible with working hours when required — overtime and additional work are regularly available for drivers wanting to maximise earnings.

Experience

Minimum age 27+ due to insurance requirements
Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Category B for cars, Category C for lorries)
Proven experience in professional driving roles, preferably within logistics or passenger transport sectors
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes under time constraints
Excellent communication skills and a courteous manner when dealing with clients and team members
Ability to maintain a clean driving record with no recent serious violations or penalties
