Signing-on Bonus

£1000 signing-on bonus. £500 payable on successful completion of probationary period and 6 months' service, £500 payable after 12 months service. Terms and conditions apply.

Merityre Specialists are an award-winning tyre and fast-fit automotive retailer based in the Home Counties. With 25 branches spread across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxford and Greater London, we have a turnover of over £35 million and employ approximately 240 staff. We aim to be the best and we’re seeking the most exceptional people to join our dedicated team to provide a first-class service to our local motorists. We provide a specialist service for all automotive needs, ranging from new tyres, servicing and MOTs to tyre punctures, air conditioning and batteries.

About the role

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the Branch. This will include but not limited to:

line management;
dealing with customer enquires in person and over the phone
assisting the branch to achieve targets
monitoring stock levels and carrying out stock audits
hands-on workshop role if and when required.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 and Saturday 08:30 - 17:00. One rota day off during the week for three out of four weeks and one Saturday off one week in four. No Sunday working.

Essential Skills

The successful candidate will have experience in the fast-fit tyre and exhaust industry, able to step in and help out in the workshop, be a good team player with strong leadership skills and be able to provide high levels of customer service.

Salary: OTE (on-target-earnings) £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
