Hand Picked Hotels is a beautiful collection of 21 privately owned, luxury country houses and coastal retreats, each hand picked for their individuality. Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner and Chairman, Julia Hands MBE. Whilst each hotel is individual, every property fulfils the company values of family, individuality, community and care, ensuring a hand picked experience for every guest and employee.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to be based at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a new role and will be based on property driving corporate business to the hotel.

Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is located in Nantwich the hotel is one of the most renowned country house hotels in Cheshire. Expertly blending old-world charm with modern amenities. This stunning award-winning property is proud to boast 4 AA Red Star status and a 3 AA Rosette Restaurant and has won local accolades for its service and standards.

About the role:

The role of Sales Manager will involve proactively driving sales activities to the hotel across all sectors to including hotel events, private dining, leisure experiences, corporate and conference from a local perspective.
Work with local destination houses and partners from a B2B and B2C perspective.
Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the hotel and Hand Picked Hotels sales and marketing plan.
Responsible for pro-actively manage social media on property, looking at ways to engage with the local community, raise awareness and engagement.
Be a confident and effect networker who can build effective relationships externally and internally.
Making clear, confident decisions, will be second nature to you, consulting with others where needed ensuring you all reach the same goals.
Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
Working in collaboration with the Director of Sales and to ensure delivery of the sales targets and objectives.

About you:

To be considered for this role you will this role of Sales Manager you will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment.
It is essential you are driven, can act on your own initiative where appropriate and enjoy working within a proactive sales role and with set targets and objectives.
Can demonstrate a methodical approach and are highly organised and have a systematic approach to your work.
You will have excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail.
Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
It essential you have your own transport and can travel as required.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, however this may vary depending on business needs.
