Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Assistant - Reception to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, customer-focused setting, contributing to memorable guest experiences. The position is paid and ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest services.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
Manage guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person with excellent phone etiquette
Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly
Assist in managing the front desk operations during shifts to ensure smooth daily functioning
Support guests throughout their stay, resolving issues with professionalism and courtesy

Experience

Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour and excellent organisational abilities
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service principles is advantageous
Familiarity with reservation systems and basic administrative tasks is beneficial
