Private Client Legal Assistant (Graduate Legal Career Opportunity)

Location: North Wales (Various Office Locations)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (part time will be considered if also currently studying towards further qualifications)

We are looking for ambitious and motivated individuals to join our growing Private Client team at Swayne Johnson Solicitors.

This role is ideal for recent graduates who are looking to gain practical legal experience within a supportive and well established law firm. From day one, you will work closely with experienced solicitors, develop your legal knowledge, and gain valuable exposure to client-facing work.

We are committed to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for progression. For the right candidates, this role has the potential to develop into a future Training Contract or other solicitor qualification pathway.

Whether you have recently completed a Law degree, an LLM, the LPC, SQE studies, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role

You will support our Private Client team in a wide variety of matters, including:

Wills and estate planning
Probate and estate administration
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Trust administration
Preparing legal documents and correspondence
Opening and managing client files
Communicating with clients, financial institutions and third parties
General legal and administrative support

This role provides an excellent foundation for anyone considering qualification as a solicitor in the future.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

Enthusiastic about developing a career in law
Interested in Private Client work and helping individuals and families plan for the future
Professional, organised and detail-oriented
Strong communicators with excellent written and verbal skills
Eager to learn and develop new skills
Able to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Law degree (LLB), LLM, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Previous legal work experience is beneficial but not essential
