We’re on the hunt for a detail-loving, number-crunching Payroll Assistant on a 6-9 month Fixed term contract to join our buzzing Payroll Team.We’re not your average company – we’re all about authentic Southern hospitality, amazing people, and genuine career development. Payroll Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous payroll experience to join an expanding company whilst working collaboratively within the team for a 6 Month fixed term Contract

Duties (Include but not confined to):

Collating information from different people/sources.
Processing tronc onto payroll software.
Running reports from payroll system.
Converting Excel/CSV into correct format for upload.
Uploading of data into payroll software and subsequent reconciliation.
Processing Absences on payroll software.
Processing team expenses through payroll software.
Responding to team enquiries.
Checking right to work details.
Support the Payroll Manager with any ad-hoc duties.

Person Profile

Proven experience processing payroll.
Good knowledge of statutory payments.
Proficient in excel.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
Good communication and client service skills.
Office based in Chester – must be able to drive due to location.
