As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and highly organised Contracts Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects throughout the UK.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys coordinating multiple projects, building strong client relationships and supporting operational teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will act as the central point of coordination between clients, suppliers, site teams and internal departments, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
The role offers a blend of project coordination, contract administration and team leadership, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a growing and respected business.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Contract Coordination
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of multiple contracts from pre-construction through to completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Ensure contract requirements, project specifications and programme milestones are clearly communicated and understood.
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks, delays or issues and escalating where necessary.
- Diligently carry out project planning and scheduling to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project documentation, reports, variations and client communications.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve project queries and coordinate solutions with relevant departments.
- Attend client and site meetings as required.
Team Leadership & Operational Support
- Provide guidance and support to Site Supervisors and project teams.
- Assist with resource planning, labour coordination and project logistics.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure project objectives and deadlines are achieved.
- Promote a positive, collaborative and professional working culture.
- Support the development of team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Commercial & Performance Monitoring
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and commercial performance.
- Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Produce regular progress updates and performance reports for senior management.
- Help ensure projects deliver value for money while maintaining quality standards.
Health, Safety & Quality
- Support compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure safe working practices are maintained across all projects.
- Assist in monitoring quality standards and project compliance.
- Report and escalate health & safety concerns, incidents or near misses as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience within a Contracts Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Contracts Manager, Site Manager or similar construction-related role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project reporting.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Experience within the swimming pool, spa, leisure or specialist construction sectors.
- SMSTS qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- Relevant construction or project management qualifications.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
