Senior Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (Ofsted)

£65,000 per year plus annual bonus

Embrace Care is seeking an experienced and high-performing Senior Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (Ofsted) to lead our specialist provision based in a quiet, secluded part of Chester.

Exciting and unique opportunity to oversee the opening of a new children’s home for children with autism, learning disabilities and additional needs with integrated therapeutic input. As a senior registered manager you will provide line management to the sister short breaks position. This is an opportunity which enables an experienced RM to take on additional responsibilities providing a great development pathway.

This is not a high-density residential street property.
This is a calm, structured and contained environment designed to promote stability, emotional regulation and therapeutic progress.

The home supports children and young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and complex needs.

As the Senior Registered Manager, you will hold full Ofsted accountability and take ownership of leadership, standards and outcomes — with genuine organisational backing and operational support.

This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who understands regulatory expectations, knows how to achieve Good or Outstanding outcomes and wants autonomy to lead exceptionally well.

The Role

As Registered Manager under Ofsted regulations, you will be responsible for:

Full Registered Manager accountability and compliance
Leadership of culture, standards and performance
Safeguarding oversight and quality assurance
Continuous improvement and regulatory readiness
Recruitment, supervision and development of your team
Delivering positive, stable and lasting outcomes for children
Participation in the senior leadership on-call rota

This role requires confident decision-making, regulatory competence and strong values-based leadership.

What You’ll Need

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Minimum five years’ experience as a Registered Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home
Proven Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
Strong experience supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and complex needs
Full UK driving licence
