Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. In this role, you will support the accounting department by assisting with financial record-keeping, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial data. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their accounting skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties

Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records using various accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and others.
Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Support financial management activities by reconciling accounts, reviewing ledger entries, and preparing reports.
Help with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
Collaborate with senior team members to support month-end closing procedures and audit preparations.
Maintain organized documentation of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Participate in mentoring opportunities to learn best practices in financial accounting and develop professional skills.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial services industry practices and standards.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies or errors promptly.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial accounting principles.
Willingness to learn new systems and take on mentoring opportunities for professional growth.
