The Role:
Portsmouth School of Law is seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer in Law to contribute to teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following core subject areas:

Public Law and European Union Law
- Contract Law
- Tort Law
- Criminal Law
- Land Law
- Equity and Trusts
The successful candidate will contribute to the design, delivery, assessment and administration of core and specialist law modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm for high-quality, student-centred teaching and a commitment to supporting student learning and progression.

Salary Information:
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
