Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager

Goodwood Home Farm is at the heart of our estate, producing high-quality, sustainable food with true provenance.

We’re looking for a Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager to drive the growth of our wholesale and retail operation. This is a dynamic and hands-on role, combining sales, account management, and logistics, where you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and ensuring our products reach customers efficiently.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our Farm Food offering while working within a passionate and collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take the lead on developing sales and strengthening customer relationships, including:

Growing wholesale and Farm Shop retail sales
Managing and developing existing customer accounts
Identifying and securing new business opportunities
Maintaining strong customer communications and follow-up activity
Supporting product development, merchandising, and retail performance

Alongside this, you’ll oversee key operational areas:

Managing delivery logistics and leading the delivery team
Reviewing and improving delivery routes for efficiency and profitability
Taking ownership of milk vending operations and future expansion
Supporting accurate order processing, reporting, and revenue tracking
Producing regular sales reports and performance insights
Ensuring compliance with traceability and legislative requirements

You’ll also support the wider team during peak times, events, and holidays, helping to keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll bring

Prior experience in sales, account management, retail, or customer service is desirable
Confidence managing customer relationships and driving business growth
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to balance commercial thinking with operational delivery
Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and relevant systems
A proactive, hands-on approach with a collaborative mindset
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
An interest in food, farming, or high-quality produce
