Job Summary

PART TIME MUST BE AVAILABLE 9-6:30pm everyday.

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Soft Play Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and engaging environment for children and their families. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop management and hospitality skills within a dynamic setting, contributing to memorable guest experiences. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional guest services and creating fun-filled moments for our visitors.

Duties

Supervise children in the soft play area, ensuring their safety at all times
Assist guests with entry, exit, and general enquiries, delivering outstanding guest services
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the soft play zone, including sanitising equipment regularly
Monitor play equipment for any hazards or maintenance needs and report issues promptly
Manage guest flow during busy periods, ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment
Support management with organising birthday parties or special events within the play area
Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, or guest services is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with children and adults alike
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Enthusiastic about creating a fun, safe environment for children of all ages
Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy periods
Flexibility to work weekends or peak times if required 9-6:30 is a MUST.
Basic understanding of health and safety standards relevant to childcare environments
