Company Overview

Harington's Hotel and Apartments is a vibrant boutique hotel located in the heart of Bath. Privately owned with a dedicated team of 20 staff, we are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences while fostering a fun and collaborative work environment.

Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Harington's Hotel in Bath. This role is vital in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and have a memorable stay. If you enjoy working in a dynamic hospitality setting, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Greet and check-in guests with professionalism and warmth.
Manage reservations and guest inquiries efficiently.
Handle phone calls and correspondence courteously.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and filing.
Support team members with various clerical duties.
Help and assist with Food & Beverage, particularly breakfast.
Use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to prepare documents and reports.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

Proven office or administrative experience.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
Previous hospitality or hotel reception experience is a plus.
