The Role: Events & Reservations Manager

We are looking for an Events & Reservations Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

You don’t need a long CV in hospitality to join us, we’ll provide the training you need to master your craft. We simply ask for people who are reliable, observant, and genuinely enjoy looking after others.

The Events & Reservations team, are the primary point of contact for all event and booking enquiries, delivering exceptional customer service throughout our sales journey. Working collaboratively with the team, you will be responsible for proactively converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial enquiry to final planning. Once bookings have been confirmed, you will coordinate and plan each event, building strong relationships with clients through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions. You will conduct site visits and lead planning meetings to ensure every event is tailored to the client's individual requirements. You will communicate all event details and client requirements clearly and accurately to internal departments, both verbally and in writing, ensuring the Operations team have all the information needed to deliver each event to the highest standard.

The Events & Reservations Manager would oversee recruitment and training for the team, ensuring all communication is of the best standard and maximising all enquiries and revenue opportunities.

Working with the Sales & Commercial Managers to drive revenue and achieve sales targets, by managing the hotels sales pipeline and overseeing the sales cycle from enquiry to conversion. Leading office sales meeting to target opportunities and manage and report sales achieved.

The successful applicant will be highly articulate, accurate and be extremely well presented. They will possess excellent communication skills at all levels and be adept at identifying customer needs and providing solutions to match these. Other key skills include being well organised, motivated, a good sales person with exceptional attention to detail and the desire to go the extra mile for our guests.

The shift patterns for this role includes but is not limited to evenings and weekends where required.

Previous experience in managing a team, a corporate sales background or hospitality experience is preferred.
