Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team for weekend evening shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety standards. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. This role requires time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Bear in mind that there is no public transport in the evening , own car or living within walking distance is essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices
Manage inventory of bar supplies
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Previous experience in a bar setting is essential
Proficient in serving techniques and beverage preparation
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions efficiently
Time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
