Are you an experienced and compassionate Complex Carer looking for a rewarding role in Chippenham, Wiltshire? This role offers competitive rates of £16.00 - £18.00 per hour, ongoing specialist training, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young person with complex neurological and physical health needs.

As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered agency, Coyle Homecare have been a leading provider of homecare services in the UK for over 20 years. We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team to provide essential complex care and support to children and adults in the comfort of their home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Complex Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality personal care and continence support.
Administer PEG-J feeding and medication safely and accurately.
Provide airway management, including oral suctioning.
Support with nebuliser treatments and oxygen therapy.
Observe and manage epilepsy and seizure activity in line with care plans.
Assist with moving and handling using ceiling hoists and specialist equipment.
Deliver pressure area care and regular repositioning.
Monitor the service user's health and promptly report any concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
Work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Job Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or within a complex care setting.
Experience supporting individuals with complex neurological or physical health needs.
A calm, compassionate, and reliable approach to care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Flexibility to work full-time, part-time, or waking night shifts.

Desirable Skills:

In addition to the necessary job requirements, the following skills are desirable when working for Coyle Homecare:

Experience with PEG feeding, epilepsy management, respiratory care, or neurological conditions.
A deep understanding and genuine care for the well-being of others.
The ability to listen actively and communicate clearly with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
The capacity to think quickly and make sound decisions in unexpected circumstances.
