Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing your skills within the cleaning industry.

This role will require some early starts .

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks across various areas, including offices, communal spaces, and specialised facilities
Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised according to company standards
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Assist with deep-cleaning projects as required, including carpet cleaning, window washing, and specialised sanitation procedures

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained consistently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst also being a reliable team player
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional responsibilities as needed
